Beijing life during the corona epidemic

Photo serie of the early days of the coronavirus pandemic in Beijing, documenting the profound impact of lockdown measures on the city’s bustling life. Empty streets, deserted malls, checkpoints and food delivery are the new routine.

At one point, after suspicions of close contact exposure, my building went into full lockdown for a week. The anti-epidemic committee sealed most of the doors to prevent residents from escaping.
